Video footage of location. Romeo & Juliet - Prokofiev score which has been used by Royal Ballet before.

Ideally for awards entries we need a 40 sec cut for the ROH comp and for advertising festivals. Then we could aim for a 2-3 minute edit for short film festivals/awards.

We open on a wide shot of the Marine Parade and the steps and balcony above.

We see people walking by; a top of the underpass, one woman is dressed impeccably she has lovely flowing dress and her hair is flowing in the wind. We only she her from shoulders upwards.

She stops to look out and dream of her lover. The wind blows her hair she brushes this in a moment only briefly disturbing her dream.

Cut to street cleaner below he's noticed Juliet and is staring at her but still tries to carry on picking up rubbish with the claw he is using. The crisp packets and tine cans rolling and blowing in the wind. The crisp packets are all small and hard to get hold of, showing his frustration.

Juliet catches his gaze and is in an instant in love. She can't believe that under the dirty exterior there before her has appeared her lover.

Romeo drops his claw and abandons his refuse sack. He beckons Juliet, she reaches out for him.

They stare at one another.
Time passes and fade to black cut to,
an embrace and kiss you can see they are happy to be reunited again. They dance around each other to further look once again at themselves. (Romeo has ballet tights on and has abandoned his day-glo jacket)

As he pulls away he notices her pregnant bump. He looks puzzled but walks off into the distance with his Juliet all the same.

In an instant all the people (extras/dancers) around them and behind start an amazing dance in celebration as they walk forward towards camera.
